Privacy Policy

Oghere is a private space for nightly reflection, operated by Oghere LLC (New York). We built Oghere around data minimization: we collect only what is needed to give you the experience, and nothing more. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

• Your email address, used to sign you in.
• Your reflections. The text you write, and the transcript of anything you speak. We do not store the audio recording itself; your voice is transcribed to text and the recording is discarded.
• Your identity map and settings, which Oghere builds from your reflections along with the preferences you choose.
• Subscription status for Oghere Premium, handled through Apple and RevenueCat. We never see or store your card details.

How we use your information

We use your information to provide and improve the app: to sign you in, to transcribe what you speak, to generate the nightly mirror observation and your weekly insights, and to maintain your identity map and history.

We rely on a small number of trusted processors to make these features work. Transcription is performed using OpenAI Whisper. Reflections and insights are generated using Anthropic. Your content is sent to these processors only to produce your results, and is not used by us to train models.

What we do not do

We do not sell your data, and we do not use your reflections for advertising. Oghere shows no ads.

Where your data is stored

Your data is stored with Supabase and Vercel, with access controlled through row-level security so that your reflections are tied to your account alone.

Your rights

You can export your reflections at any time. You can delete your account from within the app, in Settings, which permanently removes your data. If you prefer, you can email us and we will delete your account and data within 30 days.

Age

Oghere is not intended for anyone under 16.

Not medical care

Oghere supports reflection and is not therapy, counseling, or medical advice. If you are in crisis, please contact your local emergency services.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we make a meaningful change, we will update the date at the top of this page.
